Christmas is now fast approaching with a wealth of seasonal activities happening in Poynton for all different ages.
Arrangements are now firm for the 7th Poynton Christmas Fest, which is sponsored by the Town Council, and which takes place on Tuesday evening 3rd December. The main stretch of Park Lane will be closed to traffic from 7pm to 9pm, and there will be the usual wide range of entertainment, refreshments, a firework display – and Santa will also be in residence. Programmes for the evening are available from the Civic Hall.
Many more businesses will remain open this year, and there are more stallholders too. Please try to walk to the event if possible, otherwise use the Civic Centre Car Park or the additional parking at the former Vernon Infants School on Bulkeley Road . Please wish for good weather and come along on the night!
